Early morning wandering the front garden is a real delight at the moment. Each morning another little poppet has bloomed
I can’t really complain about winter as I was lucky enough to be in residence in Queensland for most of it this year, and Spain last year, but I gotta say how happy I am to see the garden this Spring (I was in Spain last year so no Spring for me in 2018). The wisteria is not far off hitting its straps now so stayed tuned for some images of that beautiful display of foliage.
Toby stopped in for a night on his way to northern NSW for the week. Looking forward to seeing you back here next weekend Toby (and fur-parents Chris & John)
On returning from my Queensland break I noticed plenty of changes around Rutherglen. Clearly evident was the vast swathes of golden canola fields....and new signage at Rutherglen Estates. RE is now owned by the DeBortoli family.
Yes even the host needs a break occasionally! I enjoyed an extended break on the Sunshine Coast with the chihuahuas during July & August just gone.
During this period of respite some repeat B&B guests took up the offer to stay at La Maison on a self-contained basis (min 5 nights). They were rewarded with full run of the property and feedback suggests they all thoroughly enjoyed their stay.
So it’s back to business as usual now so I look forward to hosting your stays over the coming months.
Your host Kellie-Anne
